Day 1 Grand Prix Results
Becky told many of the people there that “Bomb” was a “correct” horse if ridden 10 completely accurately & Becky did just that! As Becky stated, “Bomb” did not have the extravagant, free shoulder and “flippy” front feet, but he was ALWAYS 100% on the aids, ridden from behind, and had a lot of “sit,” which many of the other competitors did NOT have. This goes to show that a horse bred correctly, brought up on the fundamental (patient) scale, in correct systematic training PAYS OFF! What a test to behold!
Due to the FEI’s affiliation with Clipmyhorsetv, NO OTHER MEDIA was allowed to film this or more than 90 seconds to film ONE ride, I filmed it for my own personal viewing, but I cannot show it. Becky had her Freestyle all choreographed to Beatles songs.
Final Grand Prix Freestyle Results
I am not allowed to show it on our site. I found numerous videos of this ride available to watch on random spectator’s videos from the Freestyle competition on YouTube, if you don’t subscribe to Clipmyhorsetv. Here is a YouTube link:
I thought for now I would add photos that I took from my video in the sequence they were ridden. Long live the Dressage QUEEN🏆🇬🇧BECKY MOODY & “JAAGERBOMB!”
Of all the riders, Becky Moody and Jaagerbomb showed the benefit of not just showing today, but from training classical dressage FUNDAMENTALS from the BASICS TO THE VERY TOP—AS CLASSICAL DRESSAGE SHOULD BE!
Congratulations to Grand Prix Freestyle 🥇🇬🇧🥈🇺🇸🥉🇵🇱
Hats off to you 🎩!
Becky Moody’s Freestlye-Halt, salutePassage at A—SO CORRECT, Poll is the highest point (as was true for almost all of their ride), hind end “sitting,” back is up, hind legs in perfect parallelograms angled forward, great impulsion—always moving forward & collecting with “forward” in mind, “Bomb” is relaxed, but giving it his all & enjoying it! THIS is DRESSAGE! Happy horse, rider working very hard to look like it’s easy, but as riders, we know it’s NOT EASY—Becky Moody’s warm up techniques & expectations of her horse are fair, well planned, & positive in nature. Go 🇬🇧Piaffe in place & turning 90°Flying changes down the centerline.canter pirouette right.Tempi changes on circle at C tracking left.Tempi changes on a 20m circle leftPiaffe.Extended trot across the diagonalHalf pass left.Though this is somewhat blurry, Becky Moody was one of the best with Free-walk on loose rein—she did not push her hands down & widen them towards her knees (which is a way of ‘making’ a horse put its head down, which isn’t what is being ASKED, nor JUDGED by the PURPOSE of this part of the test—to see that a horse ridden collected to the highest degree can PROVE that they’re not being FORCED to do any of these movements, but are willing participants) Becky allowed “Bomb” to take the longer & longer contact given & happily stretched not just his neck, but his FRAME. Very well ridden!Half pass right.piaffe.Extended trot across the diagonal.coming back from Extended trot to collected trot.Riding on a 20 meter circle right, Becky & Bomb rode 2x Tempis. After a 3/4 circle of 2x Tempi changes, Becky & Bomb came out of 2x Tempis to track left into 1x Tempis.1x Tempi changes on 1/2 circle then tracking leftHalf pass zig zags.Canter half pass zig-zag right.Half pass zig zag to centerline.Extended canter.Down the centerline.Piaffe straight, then turning one direction, & the other, & straight into passageExtended trot down centerline to Halt, Salute.Finishing their amazing Grand Prix Freestyle with a Halt, Salute 🎩 Nice & square!Becky Moody waving to the roaring crowd after a magnificent Freestyle.still praising “Bomb”Leaving the arena, as the final rider in FEI World Cup Championship Grand Prix Freestyle…just to come back again to receive the honours AGAIN of the highest % ride! Leaving the arena, very pleased.
